One of the most prestigious classic yachts and a history of over 100 years: Moonbeam 4. Moonbeam IV was built by William Fife Junior in 1914 for Charles Plumptre Johnson, the son of the physician of Queen Victoria. It used to be the largest of the four Moonbeams and today it is the only Moonbeam gaff cutter boat remaining. After its construction was completed after the Great War in 1920, it commissioned for the first time. The yacht became famous after winning the prestigious boat race, the King´s Cup, in 1920 and 1923. When Prince Rainier of Monaco bought Moonbeam in 1950, it became legendary by being used for the honeymoon of the prince and his wife, Grace Kelly.
Today Moonbeam IV is based in Palma de Mallorca and is competing in different Mediterranean classic regattas, for instance in Les Voiles d`Antibes, Les Voiles de St Tropez and in Cannes Royal Regatta.
CODE-ZERO is partner of Moonbeam IV and sponsors a special historical inspired nautical Crew Uniform for the crew. Furthermore we developed a special Moonbeam IV limited edition Polo which includes typical elements from Moonbeam IV such as the sail number 8, the boat´s recognition feature
