The CJ Legend truly is a legend. She was built in 1989 as CHARLES JOURDAN for the Whitbread Round The World Race (known as the Volvo Ocean Race). The yacht is one of the few boats still sailing in this world-famous race.

She is therefore listed as the Legend Boat of these events. With its history, dimensions and data, the CJ Legend even lets the hearts of experienced skippers beat faster. Even today, she is still one of the sportiest and fastest yachts in the Baltic Sea region.

Designed as a racer and still sailed today, the yacht only has a minimum of comfort – but it easily makes up for the lack of comfort with sportiness and thus also captivates more ambitious sailors.

The CJ Legend was the first yacht in the world to sail an etmal of over 400 nm. The average speed at that time was 17 knots. In 1993/94, the maxi-yacht was rebuilt (hull, deck layout, mast, boom, keel) to make her even faster.

CJ Legend won numerous races, including first place twice in the legendary "Fastnet Race": once with a lead of over 20 hours to the next Maxi Yacht.
